Meg is the only daughter of Peter and Lois.  She is the oldest child in the family at 16 years of age.  She has somewhat of a crush on her next door neighbor, Kevin. 

She often struggles with popularity issues at school.  The only friend she has been shown to have on the show turned out to be a cult member.  Once she tried to make the cheerleading team and failed miserably.  Meg is constantly being embarrassed by Peter's crazy antics like when Peter drove them around completely naked or when he embarrassed her on their live TV show.
